What We Believe

We believe in One God eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe.

We believe in the Bible as the inspired and infallible word of God. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God and Savior of the world. He offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for sins by dying on the cross and rose again to demonstrate his power over sin and death. We believe he will return again.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who enables the believing life. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.

We believe in the sinfulness of humanity and the need for salvation by grace. We can never make up for our sin by good works or self-improvement but only through trusting in Christ as God's offer of forgiveness.

We believe in the Church of Christ's body, the Community of Faith. Every follower of Christ is given unique talents and abilities which they are expected to use for the building up of the local church and ultimately the Kingdom of God.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead.
